Fall 2008 Fashion: Smurfs Gone Wild

You can't seem to get away from head-to-toe blue on the fall 2008 runways (a little too 'smurfy' in my book -- but to each his own, right?) Some designers, like Valeria “ValBlu” McCulloch, are taking their blue obsession very seriously, turning it into a 24/7 lifestyle. And, if this 'all thing blue' trend catches on in a big way, the world just might look a little smurfier in the coming months:

Paris Hilton will coin the phrase, "That's Smurfy" and proceed to use it every five seconds.

Madonna will paint herself blue and pose in a nude reenactment of Michelangelo's 'Pieta' with Brainy Smurf (just to piss off the Catholic Church).

Kim Kardashian's ex-husband will snag a porno from Smurfette's private stash and leak it to the media.

Mariah Carey will release a cover of Marilyn Monroe's "Happy Smurfday Mr. President" in honor of Obama's presidential nomination.

Having 'blue balls' will be cool.

Smurfette will replace Kendra on the Girls Next Door. Holly will also change Hef's nickname from 'Puffin' to 'Papa Smuffin."

Leonardo DiCaprio will be seen around town with Smurfelle (Smurfette's younger, leggier sister).
