Odd Celebrity/Fashion Mashups: It All Makes Perfect Sense

Keith Richards is not only somehow still alive, but he is also the new (um...old?) face of Louis Vuitton. I am a huge Rolling Stones fan, but this kind of made me sick. Shot by Annie Leibovitz and tagged with the line "Some Journey's Cannot Be Put into Words" (ed. especially if you can't remember them?), the ad demonstrates to all of us (especially Amy Winehouse), that no matter what kind of awesomely promiscuous alcoholic party machine you once were, some day you too could be a model and style icon for the general female population of Long Island.

Other unlikely fashion/celebrity odd couples I would like to see:

Saturated with crotch shots and sexual harassment scandals, the only vestige of hope for American Apparel might be the bastion of class that is, George Clooney. Plus I think he'd look sharp in some metallic thong underwear leggings. Yeow!

Okay, maybe modeling for Linens-N-Things isn't the highpoint of anyone's career, but Lindsay obviously has a passion for sheets. And duh, the photo shoot is already done!

You might look at this pairing of John McCain and Juicy Couture and think, "I don't understand." But then remind yourself that sweatpants in public are the universal sign that you've given up on life, and that there is a chance McCain could be president, and suddenly it totally makes perfect sense.
