Card Cases: Mind Your Business

I remember my first box of business cards like it was yesterday. I was 20 years old and working as an assistant at a mortgage company. I really didn't need them, but my boss wanted me to feel "special" (and not in the short bus kind of way). If I remember correctly, I probably gave out a total of five cards (and four of them were to family members). But they were my business cards, and for a split second, I felt like the world was taking notice.

Fast forward to 2008: Business cards no longer make me feel special. In fact, handing them out is just part of the job, and kind of annoying. (Especially when the person crams your card into their organizer without even looking at it. A courtesy nod is always nice, people.) But there is one thing that still gives me great pleasure -- busting out my uber-cool card case. (This is the part where you oooooh and ahhhhh.)
