Dino Alves Fall 2008 Collection: Have Your Cake and Wear It

At first glance, Dino Alves's Fall 2008 collection might look a little sloppy and dated. (It has this "grunge meets Sound of Music" thing going on.) But those funny little "toppers" on each model's head has me wondering if there is more inspiration to this collection than meets the eye. Cake perhaps? (Okay, so maybe it's wishful thinking on my part. But how cool would that be?)
