Ever tried a rose petal sandwich? How about strawberries with rose cream? Neither have I, but they sound interesting.

I just bought The Scented Kitchen: Cooking With Flowers by Frances Bissell and am nervous/excited/intrigued. (A friend recently served Lavender Merigune Pie -- which was delicious as hell -- and now I'm on a mission.) I just hope I don't poison myself, or anyone else for that matter.

I pretty much suck when it comes to cooking regular food, let alone flowers, so I'll let you know how it goes. In the meantime, check out these non-edible versions. Hey, if you can't eat 'em, wear 'em.
