I'm always up for a great mani/pedi, especially the first one after a long, rainy winter. (Can you say 'gnarly tootsies?' Okay, well maybe not this gnarly.) Jeannie, the woman that does my mani/pedis, always offers up a painted flower before applying the polish, and I always smile and say, "no thanks." But this year I might actually opt for some fancy-shmancy nail art.
But if I'm going to take the plunge, a delicate flower won't do. I want something that's going to wow 'em -- or at least put a smile on a few faces. I may even bring in one of these photos to give her some ideas. (To get some other great toenail art ideas, check out the book 'Toerrific'. For fingernails, check out the Spring 2008 Look Book from Creative Nail Design.) Happy polishing!
