Diana Bobar's Blooming Cyclamen

Not only do I adore the feminine playfulness and relaxed aesthetic of Romanian designer Diana Bobar's Spring’08 ready-to-wear collection, it also reminds me of the endangered Wild Cyclamen, a tubular Mediterranian flower with breezy, spiral petals. The genus name Cyclamen is derived from the Greek word kyklamenos which means "circle form" -- a fitting comparison given the circular movement of Bobar's designs.
