The Voodoo That You Do

Years ago, a co-worker hooked me up with an Office Voodoo Kit as a gag (which I immediately tossed into a drawer and forgot about). That is, until a new supervisor -- who I will call Asskiss McStinkface -- started throwing his weight around. If it wasn't for that cheesy little doll, I probably would've gone postal on a few -- okay, several -- occasions. (*Ugh* I get burned up just thinking about the jackass.)

My 'voodoo doll therapy' was simple. When pushed to my limits, I would spend a few seconds feverishly sticking the doll with a safety pin (usually in the groin region) before going on my merry way. No rants. No belligerent emails. No flipping off the receptionist. Moral of the story? Don't squeeze a stress ball when you can stick it to a voodoo doll. (But only the cute kind. It is all in fun after all.)
