I'm Not a Superhero, At Least Not Yet

With the 'Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy' exhibit finally live at the Met, I was thinking it might be fun to dress like a superhero the next time I go out with friends. I'm just not sure I want to resort to Wonder Woman underwear (at least not in public) or Anna Wintour's snail's ass superhero ensemble to achieve the look. (Even Heidi Klum couldn't pull off that look, Anna. What the hell were YOU thinking?)

Of course, given the fact that we're in the thick of an American Apparel pervy shiny leggings and stiletto boot-sandal trend, I was pretty confident going into this that it would be relatively easy to pull some looks together. Up, up and away, girls. (And, sorry. Underwear not optional.)
