The wind-inspired Issey Miyake Spring 2008 collection was a collaboration between Creative Director Dai Fujiwara and James Dyson (of Dyson vacuum fame). According to Fashion Windows, the collection blew "a wind of freshness, bringing a propos poetry to the concern with global warming and making a statement of hope: fashion has an optimistic vision of the future." But when I laid eyes on the collection, all I saw were candy sprinkles, whipped frosting, and swirled sugary goodness (which probably says more about my sweet tooth than anything.) I wonder if they would consider doing wedding cakes?
