Having spent several of my formative years in the company of Japanese exchange students, I am no stranger to origami. So, when I read that the inspiration behind his André Lima's Spring 2009 collection was 'geometric effect' I had to do a double take. Yes, hard edges are certainly present in both geometry and origami, but how does one explain why each dress bears a striking resemblance to some of these origami classics?

Woah, that's uncanny! Did you put together those photo-comparisons yourself? That's truly incredible.
My all-time favorite. I don't know which I like better, the clothes or the origami! I love both.
Very nicely done, Jill!
I love it.
