The modern fashion establishment can thank Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren (formerly Malcolm Edwards) for bringing fetish fashion (like latex and bondage trousers) into the mainstream. In the 1970's, Westwood and McLaren opened their first clothing store "Sex" on the Kings Road in London, which was later renamed "Seditionaries" (and renamed once again as "World's End.")
In the late 70's, Zandra Rhodes watered down Westwood's style, and so on, and so, and so on. It was only a matter of time before names like Versace were adding safety pins and distressed fabrics to their lineups. Fast forward to 2008, and bondage-esque style is making it's way back into the mix -- no S&M membership card required. Well, that is, unless you really want one ;)

I never realized I liked this netting/bondage/tie-up style until now.
like the trash ties and the shoes but am going nowhere in those knickers - unless i wake up tomorrow morning looking like the model.
The silk tie knickers give new meaning to 'tying the knot'... wedding night attire, perhaps?
Some of the other images speak to me of despair of the soul...true bondage...truely sad.
I love this but I think I might have some bits bulging in my outfit ; )
Very cool. =)

fahion herald - those knickers would require at least six boxes of Hollywood fashion tape.
