Remember when the Fug Girls dissed Keira Knightley's 'boob belt' dress? Well, apparently she was on to something.
Society For Rational Dress has put their own spin on the 'boob belt' look in their Fall 2008 collection. But this time, instead of a strapless mini, full-coverage body pants are making their way up and over the bust line. Cute with a cardigan, but I'm not so sure about wearing them alone. (A little too grandpa in my opinion.)
And for those of you that thought Jessica Simpson wore her pants too high above the waistline, that girl has nothing on these ;)

Over here at the OM Ranch, we call that Mertzing. As in "Fred Mertz"-ing. That just means pulling one's pants up so high that they become Empire-line. Pulling one's pants up so high they become a tube-top jumpsuit far surpasses the bog-standard Mertzing. Thank you so much for posting this.
