Currently Obsessed With: Leg Warmers

Autumn 2006 ushered in [and quickly ushered out] the often misunderstood and deeply despised leg warmer. But, contrary to popular belief, leg warmers didn't actually go away. They just went into hiding long enough to reemerge with a little more panache and a lot more style. If worn with the proper digs, leg warmers can actually rock an outfit (well, maybe with a few exceptions). So stop hating on the leg warmers. I can think of a million other trends worth snubbing instead ;)

All exceptional and superior picks. Worn well, leg warmers are fabulous. And what's not to love about having another accessory to choose from?

Now I am rather longing for cool weather. Of course, the air conditioning in my office would suffice, but are these "business casual?" Inquiring minds need to know...

thank you, I've been a closeted leg warmer lover for years now, and those picks now give me the inspiration to come out.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I don't hate them. I actually really sort of like the herringbone version. Jill, I think you might have swayed me.

I am openly coveting the Lara Kazan Spat Leg Warmers, but am secretly in love with those knit lace ups!

I actually dig 'em.

Leg warmers can balance a smaller lower portion of the leg with a larger upper portion; meaning, it can help a tiny calf look in balance with huge thighs (like mine) lol. I love the knitted ones as well. All of them are cute.

i really have to be careful with leggings, because i have thick, muscular calves, and i don't want to look stumpy. plus, it's hard to find ones that fit. i have a couple of pairs, most recently from target and artfulwears.com, where i bought the exact same pair by lara kazan shown above! i hope this trend lasts.
