More than a year ago, Paris Hilton gave the fashion world something to snicker about while bouncing from party to party wearing nothing more than "finger covers" [among other things]. And, much to the chagrin of many, what appeared to be a scissor-crazed wardrobe malfunction at the time has finally poked it's stinky little pinky into a few fashionable places.I can see why a professional pool player would opt for a pair of 3-finger pool gloves to keep his/her hand steady [okay, that's a lie] but I am truly stumped by the "partial glove" trend in which only the fingers are covered or one or more fingers are exposed. To me, they give off a "mime had a baby with Michael Jackson" vibe, but the jury is still out on whether or not the trend will catch on. (Now, give me a pair with only the middle finger exposed and I'll wear them to my grave!)

nooooooooo! not a trend i want to see taking off any time soon.
Incredibly original, I wonder though what function must these gloves serve? They are clearly too flimsy to shut out the cold and too glitzy for routine wear. This one is truly for the ones who are up'til their ears in fashion!
this is the most ridiculous thing I think Ive ever seen
The finger glove is hilarious.
Pretty funny. Leave it to PH to find some wacky "trend" to initiate.
I love this, but I don't like how Paris did it. I think the wrist and/or thumb needs to covered to make it look... normal and not a bad fashion attempt. Ahem, Paris...
mel and wendyb - i'm totally with you.
somya - they would be perfect for somebody who didn't want to leave fingerprints behind (like somebody robbing a bank, perhaps?)
enc - hard to believe the girl has a successful lines of shoes. *sigh*
secretista - or maybe a big glove that she can fit over her head?
