Photo: The Powell StudiosIn the days before anesthetics, soldiers were given bullets to bite down on to help them endure excruciating pain. As a result, the term "bite the bullet" was born (now a common euphemism for the harsher "deal with it" and/or "don't be a wuss.") Fast forward to fall 2008 and you've got soldiers marching up and down the runways as though John Galliano himself gave a call to arms.
So it's little surprise that fashion is biting the proverbial bullet with accessories that leave little to the imagination. (Try getting through airport security with one of these bad boys!) This proliferation of ammunition-inspired style is also a clear sign that the emerging "gun as fashion statement" trend isn't losing any steam. (Oh, and Karl, be a dear and put down the gun shoe before somebody gets hurt.)

I still have a problem with popularizing "the military look" when we are actually AT war. I think it's poor taste.

HOWEVER
I *LOVE* the bullets!!! I think it's better to wear a bullet as an accessory rather than wear any clothing in a camouflage pattern.
pft. whatever that's just me.
Love the Luger ring...tough and stylish.
The belt buckles and the briefs are interesting. I think I'd be afraid of my guy, though, if he wore any of those!
I love military styling when it's been miniaturized. See the silver aircraft missile (5th photo) and the silver AK-47 (8th photo) http://martinilifestyle.blogspot.com/2008/07/jewels-to-reflect-your-mood.html

I know someone whose birthday is in November. He would LOVE the holster briefs! LOL
those unearthen bullet necklaces are such a neat idea - some of earths natural & most beautiful creations stuffed into man's most awful creation... making one very attractive and thought provoking charm.
love. it.
