Nerea Lurgain, Spring 2009My first reaction was, "Ack! It's grandpa all over again." But after a few deep breaths, I concluded that the trend wasn't a total shock after all (given the proliferation of knee highs in the coming season). Particularly intriguing is the sock-garter-over-tights look which we can thank the beautiful Roxanne Carter (below) for. Who knew the look might actually grow on me (even if only on another person?)

Humm... I'm too old for this trend (despite I don't think age must be a thing for not wearing something), or maybe in another way I'll put that I'm not into this trend becuase I don't feel it.
There're some looks in this that I think cute, others too weird.

I'm too old for this too^^, but I wish the trend was in place when I was in 5th grade when I wore kneesocks. They wouldn't have fallen down so much!

Somehow they are a tad less sexy than the thigh-high kind . . .
