From the Golden Girls Gone Wild art exhibition
Fast forward a decade, and the Golden Girls continue to periodically pop onto my radar. First, Lenora Claire's highly controversial "Golden Gals Gone Wild " art exhibit which made a huge splash in 2007. Then the Golden Girls Exhibit, Part II: Modern Art, which arrived at New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art in April 2008. And who could forget Bea Arthur, Rue McClanahan, and Betty White being honored at the TV Land Awards (R.I.P Estelle Getty) in June of 2008.
And then, just a few days ago, Jennifer Mathieu at heartlessdoll.com compiled a hilarious list entitled "The Top Ten Best Things About The Golden Girls" (with 'Sixty and Still Gettin' Some' and 'Gay-Friendly Before It Was Hip' as my faves.) Well worth the read, my friends, but not complete without a collection of Golden Girl fashion and accessories. So, without any further ado, I give to you The Golden Fashionistas.

i second that!
The Golden Girls are amazing. I still watch old episodes. Sophia was my favorite— she was so snarky!
Best timing ever, I was just working on a Golden Girls-related post! I'm linking to you!
Oh Jill, I love the Golden Girls, too! (shhhh)
I'm hoping to be allowed to join WendyB's Golden Girls Gang. Maybe one of these t-shirts will help me get in!

Ms TDLC is a hybrid which allows her to poke fun at both sides! Wonder which of the four Golden Girls her mom reminds her of?
Forget the GG it's ALL about Julia Sugarbaker and her sass-talking southern sista's...well it is for me!
