Guys & Garter Belts

Some of you may recall my "Cute Guys In Tights" article in which I offered a theory as to why women were put off by men wearing them. My conclusion was that women might be more accepting if men wore them where we could see them (like a pair of colored tights under a pair of shorts). I went on to say that, if men stopped hiding them -- which is often a sign of shame and/or embarrassment -- women might stop associating them with transvestism and fetish behavior. (After all, if they're manly enough for superhero's and tyrannical kings like Henry VIII, seeing them on fashion-forward men shouldn't get our panties in a bunch. Right?)

But what about venturing into territory like garter belts and thigh high stockings for men? Is this taking it out of the realm of "fashion forward" style and into fetish garb (akin to men wearing bras and silk panties?) Or is it simply another opportunity for men to wear stockings without having to stuff their junk into a breathable cotton crotch?
