It's Official: Knee-centric Leggings Are a Trend

There was a collective gasp heard across North America when Lindsay Lohan revealed her knee pad-clad leggings (strangely named "Mr. President," I might add) last year. Then another gasp was heard earlier this year as Imelda hyperventilated while cheeky male models paraded around in industrial-strength knee pads on the A/W '09 runways. But, my friends, all the gasping in the world couldn't slow this train down, as evidenced by the following images. (Just exactly what built-in knee pads are good for? I'll just have to let you figure that one out for yourself.)
