It's a Trap

Have you ever seen a footless bear or a three-legged beaver? Well, thanks to foothold traps, they actually exist in the wild. Several states have banned the use of these traps (which are primarily used by hunters to trap and skin fur-bearing animals.) But these [barbaric] traps continue to hide among the brush and grass, trapping everything from neighborhood dogs and cats to the occasional human. Even supermodels aren't immune, as demonstrated by the photo of Gemma Ward (above).

For those of you interested in displaying one of these antiquated torture devices on your person, I've assembled the recent proliferation of trap accessory options for your viewing pleasure. Just don't be surprised if/when an animal rights activist throws you a wicked stare. After all, to some it would be akin to wearing a pendant of a baby seal getting it's skull crushed in.
