SSENSE Needs to Ditch the Dog

I'm not above tits and ass here at TDLC. But one of my favorite websites, SSENSE.com, has me somewhat baffled (and a whole lot grossed out.) Known for it's fashion-forward aesthetic and edgy style, the website usually has me salivating within seconds. But their new rotating pictorial of cute "licky" dog + model with orgasm face isn't edgy -- it's just ew. (It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see the seductive intent of a woman with "fuck me face" holding a dogs ears while he licks his way up her bare thigh, legs spread wide open in the sky.) Click the image above and you will also see that Rover is sporting wood.


I'm all for seduction, no matter how provocative -- MF, MM, FF, MFF, FFM (you get the picture) but I draw the line at animals and kids. (I hope you're reading this, Dov Charney.) My best guess is that the photographer has been reading too many Anaïs Nin novels, or that when he/she says "I love my pets," they really mean "I LOVE my pets. Wink, wink." (Hide the sheep kids, the fashion photographer just pulled up in a van with blacked out windows and a horse trailer...) So, can we please not go the canine erotic route, SSENCE? Otherwise, I might just have to take my anti-dog fucking ass somewhere else.
