Plot summary: An uptight, leather-clad female alien, armed with a raygun and accompanied by a menacing robot, comes to Earth to collect Earth's men as breeding stock.

If you've never seen the 1954 cult classic "Devil Girl From Mars," I suggest you keep it that way. (It sucked in more ways than one.) But apart from the dreadful acting and macabre plot lines, the costumes were a gem worth remembering. Sharp, strong shoulder lines and shiny, skin tight fabrics were the centerpiece of actress Patricia Laffan's wardrobe. So, while many are attributing the resurgence of this look to the 80's, we can thank our stylish Devil Girl for putting this one on the map.
