Designer Nana Aganovich is putting a new sping on sexy with her modular "peeping Tom" creations for Spring 2011. Her inspiration? Shipbuilding. Also known as "block construction," shipbuilding makes considerable use of prefabricated sections -- a process of building in phases, usually from the ground up. (Although, I imagine these creations would sink if they left the shipyard in their current form.) My only question now is: Do I take the deal, or go for the prize behind curtain #3? Or maybe I should just put on a sweater and call it a day.
What's Behind Curtain #3?

This Horse Says: "NAY!"
These furry heels by Ellie Georgie have "The Lion, the Witch, and the Totally Absurd Wardrobe" written all over them. Even Rupaul would be kind enough not to wish these on her worst enemy. (Mr. Tumnus, you're off the hook this time. But might I suggest a nice wedge boot instead? The whole "hair between the toes" thing is kind of creeping me out.)

Trim Those Funky Nose Hairs!
Most guys will tell you that the "strange hairs" in and around the nose and ears start sprouting a lot younger than expected. But not to worry, you hair-stricken young lads! Mr. Nose & Ear Trimmer by Pylones has big hair where he wants it, with a hidden trimmer for where he doesn't. His afro comes off to reveal a stainless steel trimming head. And, when not in use, this cool cat (with his folded arms and sunglasses) can hang around on the bathroom counter spying on unsuspecting dates. Even the nosiest of girlfriends won't suspect this toy of nosing around in your dirty business. ($15 USD)

Sham Whoa...
[Image: Daylife.com]Not only does the "Sham Wow" hold 12 times it's weight in liquid, it also holds the head of a 6' model as demonstrated on Cati Serra's Spring 2011 catwalk. (Okay, so maybe it's not a Sham Wow. But it definitely sheds new light on uses for squeegees and shop towels. And who wouldn't want to be ready for anything, especially for the sake of fashion?)

Sweet Mary Janes
My first pair of Mary Jane's probably dates back to the age of three, although I would have to confirm this with my mother. Their signature single buckle strap design with low heel and broad, rounded closed toe has seen it's fair share of variations over the years, but it's classic appeal has remained relatively unchanged since the term "Mary Jane" was coined in a Buster Brown cartoon over 100 years ago. They made a huge comeback in the 80's with babydoll dresses, then again in the 90's with the gothic lolita trend. Now, with designers like Miu Miu and Mary Katrantzou putting a modern spin on an old classic, the Mary Jane will surely begin to gain more momentum in 2011. Keep your eyes peeled!
