Imagine being enveloped by the foggy arms of a handful of hunky men smoking Cubans in leisure suits. Okay, now wake up. This is the promise tobacco-scented beauty products hope to deliver on. All the warmth and pleasantries of the fruity end -- not the cancer end -- of the mostly-universally-despised cigarette. Deep, moist and pungent, with touches of sweetness and spice. Enough to keep your man-on-girl-on-man fantasies alive, if only for a fleeting moment. Unless, that is, smelling like a walking humidor is not your cup of tea.
Yay or Nay? Fingernail Cones
I just spotted these feather-tipped fingernail cones on Himma Wong's S/S 2012 runway at Hong Kong Fashion Week. A likely nod toward fingernail protectors worn the elite Manchu court ladies of the late Qing dynasty. I'm definitely intrigued by their ethereal design (aside from the fact that they lack an ounce of practicality.) Do we have any takers?
